All Along the Watchtower (Grant Odom, 2010)
it has been a while my friends, but for a masterpiece like All Along the Watchtower, i had no choice but to return to There's Always a Bigger Fish to make one more blog post. clocking in at just over four minutes, this film does not waste a second. not only is this film entertainment of the highest degree, it poses questions that one may not have even considered before. a film like this demands to be rewatched again and again and again, with each view unlocking a new truth or a new question to ponder. this is perhaps the finest debut in film, the Citizen Kane of a new generation. Odom could never make a film again and would still be remembered as a filmmaking legend due to this incredible achievement, but i can only hope that more projects are released soon from this master of the highest order. without spoiling things, i can only say that going into the bathroom will never be quite the same after witnessing the masterfully contemplative scene which took place in one. this is a film that i won't soon forget.
